Rider Bikes has completed over 50 years as a pioneer in the bicycle industry of India. What started off in 1967 as a small-time manufacturer of agricultural machinery parts has today become one of India’s leading bicycle parts’ manufacturer. This journey would not have been possible without the support of our pillars i.e. customers & suppliers.
Our company started off by the name of “Bharat Wires” under the leadership of Mr. Surinder Aggarwal. Since the early days, our founder had a dream to indigenize products using the best manufacturing technologies available globally.
In the 1980s, we started manufacturing bicycle parts with an aim to become a major bicycle parts manufacturer in India. Since then, we have gone through various eras of Indian history, updating our product catalogue, procuring the best machinery, implementing good systems and practices, and recently working to digitize our organization.
Envisioning the next 50 years, I would like our company to retain its core values of understanding customer requirements, implementing sustainable practices, and promoting outdoor sports. I feel that the company is now at a threshold where it has the potential to become a manufacturer of almost frictionless high-end bicycle parts. We hope to capitalize on these market changes and opportunities to keep our founder’s dream alive and keep contributing to our country’s portfolio.
